Claudia and Andrew celebrated their wedding on a crisp and beautiful December day. We began the morning at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel, a historic gem just steps from the famous Asbury Park Boardwalk. Fun fact: the same architect who designed New York City’s Grand Central Station also designed this hotel!
Though the air was chilly, the sun was shining, and the sky was completely clear. Claudia and her bridesmaids got ready in the hotel’s spacious bridal suite, filled with natural light streaming through its large windows. Andrew and his groomsmen were just down the hall in another beautifully lit room, getting ready for the big day. One of the most striking spaces in the Berkeley is its second-floor lobby, featuring a classic checkered floor and grand, floor-to-ceiling arched windows. This was the perfect setting for Claudia’s father to see her in her wedding dress for the first time—a truly unforgettable moment.
Next, we made our way to The Mill Lakeside Manor in Spring Lake, NJ, a venue we always love working at. The staff is incredible, the grounds are breathtaking, and the venue is currently expanding—which is exciting to see! Claudia and Andrew chose to do their first look on the venue’s iconic dock, a stunning location with a picture-perfect backdrop. Despite the crisp weather, the couple and their bridal party embraced the outdoors for their photos, and as you can see in the video, they had an absolute blast.
Soon, it was time for the ceremony. With the cool temperatures in mind, the couple opted for an indoor ceremony at The Mill. The venue’s transformation from reception hall to ceremony space was seamless—you’d never know it was the same room! A string quartet played beautifully as guests were ushered in from the main foyer into the warmly lit space. The large windows allowed golden light to pour in, creating a dreamy atmosphere perfect for capturing on film.
Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed into cocktail hour, which is one of our favorite in New Jersey. The variety of food options was nothing short of amazing—everything was freshly prepared on-site, making for an incredible culinary experience. During this time, Claudia and Andrew took stunning sunset photos before heading into the ballroom for a few final romantic shots.
For the reception, the space was reset to its full glory, complete with chandeliers and LED-lit ceilings setting the perfect ambiance. After heartfelt toasts and formalities, the dance floor came alive, with guests celebrating the night away.
Claudia and Andrew’s wedding was nothing short of magical, and we are so grateful to have been part of their special day. Congratulations to this wonderful couple—we hope you had the time of your lives, because we certainly did!
